Mission: Legacy reclaimed is dedicated to helping people who had enslaved ancestors or people
with unknown parentage discover and document their family legacies.
Vision: To reunite those with unknown parentage or those who descend from enslaved ancestors with their genetic identity and ancestral legacy. Legacy Reclaimed will also provide an online space for descendants to preserve and document the legacies of their families, allow descendants to find and collaborate with one another and will educate descendants on how to discover even more with available tools, resources, and methodologies.
